President & Founder

Brett Sanicola, PE

Brett Sanicola is a seasoned Professional Engineer with extensive experience in HVAC, construction, and real estate due diligence. As the owner and President of B&L Testing and Balancing, he leads the company in providing top-notch HVAC testing and balancing services. Brett holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Hofstra University and is NEBB certified as a TAB Professional and CPT Technician.

Martin Beer

Martin Beer is a driven executive with over six years in the testing and balancing industry. At B&L Testing and Balancing, he oversees client acquisition, account management, scheduling, contracts, negotiations, project completion, and daily operations. Martin holds an MBA and dual Bachelor's degrees in Political Science and Economics from Hofstra University.

His innovative strategies and team-focused approach have significantly boosted the company's profitability and reputation.

Vice President - Operations

David Berk Sr.

David Berk Sr. is a passionate construction management professional and a NEBB Certified TAB Professional, currently pursuing his NEBB Certification in Commissioning. As Vice President of B&L Testing and Balancing, he leads a team specializing in HVAC, air and hydronic system balancing, duct leakage testing. With a BS in Construction Management from Farmingdale State College and coursework in Architecture & Design from NYIT, David brings a wealth of knowledge to our team.

Maria Leo Garcia

Maria Leo Garcia is a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in project management. As the Vice President of Administration at B&L Testing and Balancing, she coordinates job prerequisites, reviews balancing reports, and manages teams on high-value projects. She holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics from Hofstra University. Maria's expertise and commitment to excellence are key drivers of our success

Colin holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Hofstra University and is NEBB Certified as a TAB Professional and NADCA Certified for Duct Cleaning.
